Dream. Develop. Deliver.

Resource Consultants builds software for small businesses and professional practices, each one made for a specific job.

You bring the work you're tired of doing by hand. I design the tool, write the code and keep it running after launch. Each of the four products below started that way.

How a project works

Dream, develop and deliver

One person handles a project from the first conversation to the update you ask for a year later.

01

Dream

We start with how your work actually gets done: the steps, the paperwork and the jobs that take up your evenings. Then we agree on what the tool has to do and what it can leave out.

02 I write the code

Develop

I build the software myself: the screens, the database, sign-in, the email and text notices, and the links to the tools you already use. You try working versions as it comes together, so nothing waits for a big reveal at the end.

03

Deliver

It goes live at your own web address and runs in any browser, so nobody has to install anything. After launch I keep it updated, fix what breaks and add what you need next.

What I build

  • Browser apps with secure sign-in and set roles for each person
  • Court forms, packets and agreements filled in from one entry
  • Email and text notices, with templates you can edit
  • Imports and exports for tools like Auction Flex, Google Calendar and spreadsheets
  • Online payments and subscriptions
  • Electronic signatures, dashboards and reports

Products

Each one came from a problem in a real practice or business. Tap a logo to visit its site.

RBAMGR

Who it's for
Texas property tax arbitrators who handle Regular Binding Arbitration (RBA) cases.
What it does
Case management built around the RBA process, from intake to ruling to payment. It has a live case dashboard, a case view laid out like the state arbitration portal, email templates with a communication log, verdict and payment tracking, hearing briefs and yearly reports.
Problems it solves
  • Case details spread across spreadsheets, paper files and memory
  • Writing the same letters for every case
  • No searchable history of past cases, rulings and payments

MediationOS

Who it's for
Mediators running a family or civil mediation practice.
What it does
Runs the business side of a mediation practice. Parties request mediation and fill in intake online, pick session times that sync with Google Calendar, submit settlement terms and sign documents electronically. The mediator follows every case from one dashboard, and reminders go out by email and text.
Problems it solves
  • Chasing parties for intake details and open times
  • Scheduling by phone and email tag
  • Settlement terms and signatures passed around on paper

Quick Court Doc

Who it's for
Dispute Resolution Centers and the mediators who work court dockets.
What it does
Fills in a court's whole mediation packet from one entry, or from the court's docket PDF for every case at once. Parties can fill in court forms on their own phones, and in the courtroom a QR scan puts the case details into the settlement agreement.
Problems it solves
  • Retyping case numbers and party names on every form
  • Handwritten agreements the parties and the court can't read
  • Preparing a full docket one packet at a time

ESMGR · Estate Sale Manager

Who it's for
Estate sale companies that run online auctions on Auction Flex.
What it does
Handles the work around the auction. The team catalogs lots from their phones, AI drafts titles and descriptions from the photos, a live dashboard flags missing lot numbers, and one export file loads into Auction Flex. Winners can book their own pickup times.
Problems it solves
  • Retyping notes and photos after a long day at the house
  • Lot numbers that go missing before the sale opens
  • Slow, uneven listings that cost bids

Who's behind it

One developer who also does the work

Resource Consultants is the business of John Gann, a sole proprietor in Fort Worth, Texas. I'm a practicing mediator and Texas property tax arbitrator, and I build software for the kind of work I do myself.

That's why each product here exists. I needed RBAMGR for my arbitration cases, MediationOS and Quick Court Doc for mediation, and ESMGR for an estate sale company I work with. Once each one worked on real cases and real sales, I opened it to others doing the same work.

If your business runs on spreadsheets, paper forms or retyped information, I can build you a tool that fits how you actually work.
